Sunriver Resort
Year-round resort community with Deschutes River access and outdoor activities
Sunriver Resort is a large year-round resort community about 15 miles south of Bend, set among ponderosa pines on the Deschutes River. The Sunriver community covers roughly 3,300 acres and includes the resort, vacation homes, shops and miles of paved bike paths.
The resort's amenities include several golf courses, the Cove Aquatic Center, a spa, restaurants and horseback riding. In summer guests can kayak or paddleboard the Deschutes River, bike the pathways and visit the Sunriver Nature Center and Observatory, which offers stargazing programs. In winter, the resort is a base for skiing and snowshoeing, with Mount Bachelor about 30 minutes away.
Accommodations range from lodge rooms to private homes, and the resort also hosts weddings and corporate events. Facility hours and rates vary by season.
