The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art is the University of Oregon's art museum, on campus in Eugene. Its building, designed by architect Ellis F. Lawrence and opened in 1933, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Mediterranean-style structure with Moorish and Romanesque details.
The collection holds more than 13,000 objects, with strengths in Asian art and American and European works. The museum's core is the Murray Warner Collection of Asian art, and it presents rotating exhibitions of contemporary and historical work.
